The Problem

Despite running a successful roofing company, Thomas Garvey had never brought his business to social media. He wanted to build an online presence and show that his business was relevant and modern. He needed to start brand new Instagram and Facebook accounts from scratch and create a strategy for content creation. He was also experiencing issues with his local listing platforms, even having his Google Business Profile suspended for months over an error. He wanted to optimize his listing platforms to bring in new leads, correct errors, and make sure all the information was accurate. He also asked for help correcting errors on his website, such as fixing broken links and typos in the copy.

The Solution

I created Instagram and Facebook accounts and began developing a strategy to showcase the company as a warm and friendly brand. I communicated with employees to gather employee-generated content(EGC) and created a system to repurpose blog posts on social media. I introduced educational carousel posts and entertaining Reels to reach different audiences. Eventually, I worked with them to begin capturing drone footage to give their socials a more professional appearance.

I communicated with Google to reinstate their account and began optimizing their profiles on Google, Yelp, and Nextdoor. That led to a 600% increase in Google leads and 185% increase in Yelp leads.

I also worked with their website designer to redesign the site and corrected a number of errors to lead to a more seamless buyer journey.
